DogMan: Chapter 2 – "The Kennel's Bite" Written By : Vincent Rouge

Max and Poodle walk into The Kennel, an underground club run by Blue Nose, a tough, pitbull-like guy with a no-nonsense attitude. Blue Nose spots Max immediately, recognizing him from the hoodie, and charges straight at him.Before Max can react, they’re fighting, flipping tables and crashing through the club. Max’s dog-like instincts kick in, but the fight is rough. Poodle steps in, breaking it up. Both Max and Blue Nose are bruised and bleeding.Blue Nose growls, “What the hell happened to you, Max? And where’s my money?” Max, still transformed into DogMan, snarls back. But as the sun rises, his body starts reverting to its human form, the hoodie hanging loose on his human frame.Catching his breath, Max explains that he had no choice—his boss threatened to kill all three of them—Max, Poodle, and Blue Nose. He was forced to rob Blue Nose and steal a golden flask from a lab for the boss. Max confesses he took a swig of the flask to celebrate after the heist, which triggered his first transformation into DogMan.Blue Nose, though still pissed, starts to understand. He knows there’s more to the flask than Max realizes. With a sigh, he agrees to help. He’ll arrange a meeting with the boss to sort things out—but warns Max, “You better be ready for what comes next.”
